What
are winning lines?
Sands of Fortune is a nine-line
slot game that may present nine winning combinations of five symbols
across its five reels. A 'win line' is a line of symbols that MAY
contain a winning combination when the reels stop. A win line must
contain a minimum of three consecutive symbols (appearing from left to
right) for any payout to be made.
Select your lines
When the game is first displayed all nine win lines are
considered active. You may change the number of active win lines by
clicking the LINES button.
Clicking the LINES button once
switches off all win lines and then makes "Line One" active (and the
other eight lines inactive). Clicking the LINES button twice makes "Line
One" and "Line Two" active (and the other seven lines inactive), and so
on.
Note that clicking the MAX LINES button makes all nine win
lines active.
Set your stake
Stakes are
accepted on a per line basis. Sands of Fortune starts at £1 per line.
You can change the amount you are going to bet on each line by clicking
the STAKE PER LINE button until you arrive at a stake amount you are
happy with. Sands of Fortune permits £1, £2, £3, £5, £10, £0.25 and
£0.50 to be used as stake amounts, per line.
The total stake
amount for each Sands of Fortune game will be the stake per line
multiplied by the number of lines you have chosen to play. For example,
if you select a £2 stake and you decide to play all nine lines then the
total amount staked on the next game will be (2x9) £18.
Payouts
Click the PAYTABLE button to view payout values for
each symbol. For example, the payout values for a 'Jackpot' symbol are
as follows:
• 5 pays out 25000 x your line stake
• 4
pays out 1000 x your line stake
• 3 pays out 100 x your line

Wild
symbol
A Wild symbol will substitute any standard symbol to make the best win possible. Sands of Fortune will do this automatically for you.
Bonus symbol
When three, or more, Bonus symbols appear on a win line the Sands of Fortune Bonus Game (or treasure hunt) is played. Click where indicated to start your treasure hunt. You will be asked to choose a corridor (or path) to take. Each corridor contains either a cash prize, or a trap. Each time you win a cash prize you will be asked to choose another corridor. One of the prizes may be the Eye of Rah, which is a bonus multiplier. That is, your cash prize is multiplied by the number indicated. The Sands of Fortune Bonus Game ends when you encounter a trap in a corridor you have selected.
Auto spin
Auto spin is a convenient way to play without having to click the PLAY button to start each game. When you click AUTO SPIN each spin starts automatically, and continues to do so until you either click AUTO SPIN again, or your balance is reduced to zero. Anything you win along the way (including proceeds from Bonus Games) is credited to your account. Note that Auto Spin pauses while winning payouts are displayed.
